We are often asked "Why should I join HHTLFC ?" Below are a few reasons

1). We have the experience - we started in 1978 and are the 2nd longest running Womens club in Sussex

2). We are a Charter Standard Club with fully qualified coaches

3). We were the "County Award Winner 2008 ,2009 and 2010" for FA Charter Standard Adult Clubs

4). In the last 2 seasons BOTH our teams have been promoted

5). We are the ONLY Midsussex Club running 2 teams the South East Counties WFL

6). We aim to give our players as much competitive football as possible , In addition to the League program , we are the ONLY Midsussex Club entering the FA Womens Cup.

7). Our players enjoy both their football and a good social activity.

8). We aim to develop every players ability to the full and FOR YOU TO ENJOY YOUR FOOTBALL.

9). You will find a very warm and friendly welcome .

Haywards Heath Town LFC, founded way back in 1978 as Hassocks Girls F.C are recognized as the most experienced Club in the Midsussex area, with a reputation for sportsmanship that is hard to beat.
Having 2 teams playing at different levels means that we can offer players, both existing and new, the chance to play at the level THAT IS RIGHT FOR THEM, and as they improve their skills and ability they can progress within the Club.

The Club is proud to have both longstanding officials and players, with Club Secretary Peter Hickman being a founder member way back in 1978 and having filled every Management Role within the Club, whilst daughter Juley has turned out for the 1sts in the 2009/10 season , 32 seasons after she played in the clubs first ever game.. We are also delighted to welcome back as a player another founder member - Judy Wickham [nee Burt] . Judy scored our 1st ever goal, and was the first player to score a hattrick !!t

Having said that the Club is not resting on its past achievements, & is planning to provide the best possible quality both of training, football and social activity for its members. With the Men’s Club determined to regain their Div 1 Status this is an exciting time for us.

Understandably with this background we attract players from a wide area with players coming not only from the Mid Sussex area but also from Brighton, Crawley , Goring, Horsham, Hove, Sompting, Uckfield and Worthing.

From Sept 9th training will be on the superb floodlight Astroturf facility at Hurstpierpoint College on Thursdays from 6.30 pm until 8pm. Not only have we seen many new players decide to join, but we are delighted to see players returning to the Club after a few seasons away.
